General Motors has announced a change within its Global Design organization that will effectively see Bryan Nesbitt and Ken Parkinson switch roles from August 1 this year. Bryan Nesbitt, who has been executive director North American Exterior Design and Global Architecture Strategy, has been appointed vice president of GMIO Design. The appointment will see Nesbitt relocate to Shanghai, China, and serve as the lead voice for Design in the GMIO region.
Kia's total range overhaul is now complete as the new Carens C-segment MPV joins the Korean manufacturer's brochures at the Paris motor show. Based on an all-new platform, the Carens offers the choice of five or seven seats, covering off other manufacturers' 'normal' and 'grand' models with one bodystyle. Design-wise it's most closely aligned to the latest C'eed, with similar, pulled-back lamp graphics and pouting grille.

As you’ve no doubt realised over the last year or two, Mitsubishi is trying to change from the maker of very able SUVs and quick saloons in to a fluffy bunny car maker by embracing hybrid and electric technology. Which is why we’re getting a second version of the Mitsubishi PX-MiEV at Tokyo. The original PX-MiEV from Mitsubishi arrived two years ago at the Tokyo Motor Show.
